Chevreul's Salt (copper(I,II) sulfite dihydrate, Cu₂SO₃·CuSO₃·2H₂O) is a rare mixed-valence copper compound that delivers both Cu⁺ and Cu²⁺ in a single, stable crystal. For modern agriculture, this dual-oxidation copper source is increasingly valuable as a slow-release micronutrient and as a clean alternative in copper-based crop-protection chemistry.
